high-voltage leak to the transfer corona. This could be due to several different things, usually it's a dirty corona, maybe excessive dust or toner in the corona assembly. Toner conducts electricity and can leak voltage from the transfer corona to the frame. It may also be the "end-blocks," the thing in the back of the machine into which the transfer corona plugs when you close the drawer and lift up on the green handle. These crack and can cause intermittant failure.
